Necessary Supplies
All grade levels need :
- the workbook that accompanies their level. You may either purchase a pre-printed workbook or download the file (160-200 pages, size 8.5 X 11, full color, 50-60 MB pdf) and print it yourself if you have a local printer who can print it cheaper than Amazon. Both the pre-printed and the file are exactly the same. The links to the pre-printed workbook and the workbook pdf file are below. I also included links to each day’s worksheets in each lesson, in case your child loses the workbook or needs additional practice, or just in case you prefer to print assignments daily instead of all at once. (links at the bottom of the page)
- A binder or plastic file box to hold the workbook and the printed reference pages.
- Reference pages. The reference pages include math terms and vocabulary, formulas, algorithms, labeled pictures and descriptions — things your child might need help remembering from year to year. They are cumulative, so students should keep them from year to year and add to them each year. Students beginning beyond Level K will want to print the previous years’ reference pages, from Level 1 up to their current level.
- File folders to hold the math games you will print and play with your child throughout this course
- Printer (you’ll print several math games to use in your homeschool) and ink, cardstock and paper
- Laminator (optional but helpful)
- Typical Office/Craft supplies such as markers, crayons, scissors, stapler, tape and glue
Level K
- Geared, analog clock (any wall clock will be geared and would work, but I use this large, Judy clock in my homeschool)
- Ruler
- Math Manipulatives
- There are no reference pages for Level K
Level 1
- Printed REFERENCE PAGES for your child’s binder
- Geared, analog clock (any wall clock will be geared and would work, but I use this large, Judy clock in my homeschool)
- Ruler
- Brad (to make a clock with moveable hands)
- 1 pipe cleaner, at least 11 inches long, any color and 1 plastic bead, such as a pony bead, that will fit on the pipe cleaner.
- Kitchen measuring tools (cups, teaspoons, plastic pitcher with quarts and gallons marked on the side)
- A bathroom scale and a balance
- 6 paper plates, preferably colored, for the Fractions Lab (about lesson 60)
- Math Manipulatives
Level 2

We Play Math Workbooks
Your child will complete a written assignment (usually two pages) each day. You may purchase the workbooks for your child’s level on Amazon, or download the pdf below and print the workbook yourself. Each lesson also has a link to that day’s worksheets in case you prefer to print daily (or in case your child loses the workbook — I have kids, too!) 😉
